Two men shot in Fayetteville
Two people were wounded late Thursday in a shooting in the Hollywood Heights section of Fayetteville, police said Friday.
Posted — UpdatedPolice responded at about 8:45 p.m. to a reported shooting on Crayton Circle and found two men shot. The men were found near a Dodge Charger that was near the intersection of Crayton Circle and Wynwood Drive, police said.
Both men were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment. Their identities haven't been released, and their conditions were unknown Friday.
Police said the incident might have started on nearby Wayside Drive and that it might have involved an exchange of gunfire.
No arrests had been made as of Friday afternoon, and the incident remains under investigation.
