Two men killed in shooting at Fayetteville home

Two men died in a shooting at a Fayetteville home early Tuesday morning.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Two men died in a shooting at a Fayetteville home early Tuesday morning.

Around 12:15 a.m., officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a home along the 1800 block of Slater Avenue.

When they arrived, they found Trevonte Dawaine Parker, 24, dead in the backyard.

A second man, Cortez Shadique Robinson, 20, checked in to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with a gunshot wound in his chest. Robinson died during surgery.

No suspect information was available.
