Two men killed in Goldsboro shooting

Two Goldsboro men died late Friday after being shot at a home in the 1000 block of Deveraux Street, police said.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Two Goldsboro men died late Friday after being shot at a home in the 1000 block of Deveraux Street, police said. 

Officers responding to a shooting call found Donald Lee Mewborn, 47, dead in the front yard and Gary Devon Buckom, 50, dead in the back yard. 

Both Mewborn and Buckom will be sent to the N.C. Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Chapel Hill for autopsies. Goldsboro police didn't release any other information, but did they say have not made any arrests.
