Two joggers hit by car in Apex
Two people who were running were hit by a car in Apex on Tuesday morning around 8 a.m.
Posted — UpdatedAPEX, N.C. — Two people were hit by a car in Apex on Tuesday at around 8 a.m. while on a run.
The joggers were trying to cross Tingen Road from Apex Elementary School toward Sparta Lane when they were hit, officials said.
Police say the car was trying to make a left turn from Sparta Lane onto Tingen Road.
The two pedestrians were taken to a hospital. Police have not provided an update on the pedestrians' condition.
