Two people were injured, one critically, in a crash that happened on Interstate 540 near Leesville Road in Raleigh on Friday.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Two people were injured, one critically, in a crash that happened on Interstate 540 near Leesville Road in Raleigh on Friday.

Raleigh police told WRAL's Rosalia Fodera one person had non-life threatening injuries. Two vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened in the lanes heading west.

Two lanes of traffic were closed as police, fire and EMS were on the scene. Officials were still on the scene investigating late Friday and did not immediately have a cause for the crash.
