Two injured in two Durham shootings

Two people were injured in two separate shootings in Durham Saturday night, police reported.

DURHAM, N.C. — Two people were injured in two separate shootings in Durham Saturday night, police reported.

The first incident happened about 7:05 p.m. in the 3000 block of Ross Road. The second crime happened just before 7:45 on the nearby Melbourne Street. 

Both victims were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Ross Road was blocked off following the shooting. 

The investigation is ongoing.
