Two people were injured in a three-car crash Saturday afternoon on Interstate 40 East near Poole Road.

The two people were taken to a local hospital, but their names and conditions were not released.

The crash closed several lanes and delayed traffic shortly after 1 p.m. All lanes reopened by 2:30 p.m. No other information was released.
