Seven people have been shot and one killed since Friday in Durham county.

Investigators spent Monday afternoon combing for clues on the scene on Cheek Road in the most recent shooting.

<span class="nanospell-typo">Damario</span> Poole, 31, was shot just before 1 p.m.

Another person was also shot. Their name has not been released.

Anyone with information on any of the shootings is asked to call Durham County Sheriff's Department.
