Two people were injured Friday evening in a shooting near the Brookstone Apartments off Cliffdale Road, Fayetteville police said. 

<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — Two people were injured Friday evening in a shooting near the Brookstone Apartments off Cliffdale Road, Fayetteville police said. 

Officers responding to the area about 6:30 p.m. found one person near the area where the shooting occurred and learned that a second victim had been driven to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. 

The police have not released either victim's name, but both people suffered non-life-threatening injuries. 

No arrests have been made, and no other information was immediately available.
