Two hospitalized after Durham duplex fire
Durham fire officials said that two people were treated for smoke inhalation after a fire in a duplex at 1218 Hibiscus St. Sunday morning.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — Durham fire officials said that two people were treated for smoke inhalation after a fire in a duplex at 1218 Hibiscus St. Sunday morning.
Crews from three stations were called out at 7:16 a.m. and extinguished the fire within five minutes of their arrival, officials said. The fire was contained to one room of the house.
A man and woman who lived there were taken to a local hospital, officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
