FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Two students in Fayetteville were arrested after a fight broke out at Jack Britt High School Thursday afternoon, deputies said.

Investigators said Antonio Skeete, 16, of 6560 Honeysuckle Drive, and Teron Rutledge, 16, of 6510 Sprucewood Road, were arrested after they began fighting in front of the school shortly after 1:00 p.m., Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Debbie Tanna said.

Skeete, who continued to fight and advance aggressively toward a sheriff’s deputy, was subdued with a Taser and taken into custody, she said.

Skeete and Rutledge are charged with resist, delay and obstruction of justice and simple affray. Both were being processed Thursday afternoon at the Cumberland County Detention Center.

It’s not known if school officials will seek disciplinary action, Tanna said.
