Two face charges in Fayetteville meth lab

James Slaughter, 45, and Rebecca Smith, 41, were arrested Tuesday night after authorities found a large meth-making operation at 724 Skycliff Court, according to Fayetteville Police.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Two people face charges of manufacturing methamphetamine at a Fayetteville home, according to state agents.

James Slaughter, 45, and Rebecca Smith, 41, were arrested Tuesday night after authorities found a large meth-making operation at 724 Skycliff Court, according to Fayetteville Police.

Authorities spent most of Wednesday cleaning the house, which is considered a hazardous site.
