Two charged in Fayetteville slaying
Late Friday afternoon Lonnie Grant, 22, and Jivon Darden, 21, were taken into custody and each charged with first degree murder, robbery with a deadly weapon and first degree burglary.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police on Friday arrested two men in the shooting death of a Fayetteville man late Thursday.
Officers responding to 2214 Roosevelt Drive at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday found Cedric Ladon Brown dead of a gunshot wound, police said. The initial investigation determined that two men forced their way inside the residence and shot Brown, police said.
Late Friday afternoon Lonnie Grant, 22, and Jivon Darden, 21, were taken into custody and each charged with first degree murder, robbery with a deadly weapon and first degree burglary. Both suspects were being held Friday in the Cumberland County Jail without bond.
