Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh police arrested two more men Tuesday in connection with looting at businesses destroyed in the April 16 tornadoes, according to arrest warrants.
Police said George Orji, 54, of 4844 Crockett Court, and Ikechukwu Augustine Okeke, 50, of 3220 Calumet Drive, were arrested inside the Dish Network office on Yonkers Road, which was severely damaged in last week's storms and deemed unsafe by city building inspectors.
Orji and Okeke were charged with felony looting and second-degree trespassing. Okeke also faces a felony breaking and entering charge, warrants state.
They were both being held in the Wake County jail Wednesday.
Last week, Raleigh police arrested four men and charged them in the looting of Coats Auto Body shop on South Saunders Street, which also suffered severe tornado damage.
