Two arrested after late-night Raleigh carjacking

Two men are facing charges Wednesday after a late-night carjacking in Raleigh.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Two men are facing charges Wednesday after a late-night carjacking in Raleigh.

On Tuesday around 11:20 p.m., police responded to a report of a stolen car on St. James Church Road. The victim described the vehicle as a 2018 Dodge Charger.

Officers began a search and found the vehicle on the 400 block of Dorothea Drive.

Officers then arrested Jaden Crudup, 20, and Elijah Eden, 18, in connection to the stolen car. During a search, police discovered a stolen gun inside the vehicle.

Eden faces charges for:

  • Trespass on railroad right-of-way
  • Possession of a stolen motor vehicle
  • Possession of a stolen firearm.
  • Resist delay and obstruct a public officer

Crudup is charged with:

  • Possession of a stolen firearm
  • Possession of a stolen motor vehicle
  • Possession of a firearm by a felon
  • The investigation remains ongoing.
