FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Two Cumberland County men face robbery and kidnapping charges after, authorities say, they robbed a pizza delivery driver Friday night and threatened to kill him.

Sherwin Vincent Moore, 18, of 4725 Star Rite Lane in Parkton, and Tavarius Devontae McLean, 20, of 7323 Acropolis Drive in Parkton, each face one count of armed robbery and second-degree kidnapping in connection with the crime.

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said the pair was waiting for the driver to make a delivery around 10 p.m. Friday in the 4700 block of Desert Ridge Road of Parkton. When he arrived, investigators said, Moore allegedly forced the driver, at gunpoint, to the ground, took cash and pizzas and threatened to kill him if he reported the crime.
