Garner, N.C. — A truck carrying a load of new cars hit a bridge over U.S. Highway 70 Monday morning, police said.
The cars on the truck hit the Vandora Springs Road bridge over westbound U.S. 70, and the tops of two cars were sheared off, police said.
No injuries were reported.
State Department of Transportation engineers were inspecting the bridge Monday morning, but authorities said there was no apparent structural damage.
