Truck hits utility pole in downtown Raleigh, closes St. Mary's Street intersection
St. Mary's Street was closed Monday in the area of West Johnson Street after a truck hit a utility pole.

RALEIGH, N.C. — St. Mary’s Street was closed Monday in the area of West Johnson Street after a truck hit a utility pole close to Broughton High School.
The crash occurred before 8:45 a.m. Sky 5 video showed damage to the front of the truck and a bent utility pole resting in the bed of the truck.
Multiple first responders were at the scene.
Utility crews were making repairs at 10 a.m. but did not know when the intersection would reopen.
