RALEIGH, N.C. — A single-vehicle wreck involving a recycling truck flipped onto its side on Corporation Parkway—near the intersection of New Bern and New Hope roads—just after 9 a.m. on Wednesday, damaging a transformer and knocking out power in the area.

The driver was transported for non-life-threatening injuries. Police did not immediately say what caused the crash.

The intersection is a busy one, home to a CVS, Walgreens and a shopping center with a large Wal-Mart.
