Troopers seek driver in fatal Granville hit-and-run
A 71-year-old pedestrian was killed Monday afternoon when she was struck by a car on Munns Road in Granville County, according to the state Highway Patrol.
Posted — UpdatedCREEDMOOR, N.C. — A 71-year-old pedestrian was killed Monday afternoon when she was struck by a car on Munns Road in Granville County, according to the state Highway Patrol.
Troopers were dispatched to the area after reports of a woman lying on the side of the road. Linda Michalina was found dead at the scene.
Michalina lived at 15 Munns Road, not far from where she was hit, troopers said. They believe the driver might also live nearby.
Anyone with information is asked to call the state Highway Patrol or Granville County Sheriff's Office.
