Troopers searching for vehicle, person of interest in Durham hit and run

Durham, N.C. — Troopers are looking for a man who they said is a person of interest in a hit-and-run crash on Wednesday in Durham that seriously injured a person.
The hit and run happened around 8:22 p.m. on Alston Avenue at Morning Glory Avenue. Troopers said the suspect vehicle is a Chevrolet or GMC pickup truck with an extended cab.
The identity of the victim was not released.
Anyone with information about the person of interest or the whereabouts of a vehicle with front end damage should contact the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
