Trio of tractor trailers wrecks in Vance County
Three tractor trailers were involved in a wreck Monday just after 12:30 p.m. on Interstate 85 in Vance County. The northbound lanes of the highway were closed at milemarker 218, U.S. Highway 1.
Posted — UpdatedVANCE COUNTY, N.C. — Three tractor trailers were involved in a wreck Monday just after 12:30 p.m. on Interstate 85 in Vance County. The northbound lanes of the highway were closed at milemarker 218, U.S. Highway 1, near Henderson.
A spokesman for the state Highway Patrol said that there were injuries, but he did not have information about how many people were hurt or the severity of those injuries.
The Department of Transportation expected to detour traffic for about 45 minutes.
