RALEIGH, N.C. — The forecast for trick-or-treating is looking good, according to WRAL meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner.

The high on Wednesday, or Halloween, will be 72 degrees, and there is little to no threat of rain for trick-or-treaters.

With highs expected to be in the upper 60s during trick-or-treating, kids shouldn't be too hot or too cold.

Before Halloween, temperatures will be cooler and brisk, with highs in the mid 60s. Monday and Tuesday will resemble Sunday with bright, clear skies, crisp temperatures and plenty of sun.

A 30 percent chance for rain comes Thursday, particularly in the afternoon. Thursday will be warmer than the rest of the week, with highs in the mid 70s, before temperatures drop back into the mid 60s for Friday.
