Triangles rope courses and zip line parks get ready for 2020 season

Both Go Ape and TreeRunner Adventure Park open in March.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh's two treetop adventure parks are getting ready to open for the 2020 season.
Go Ape at Blue Jay Point County Park, 3200 Pleasant Union Church Rd., in Raleigh, opened for the season on Saturday, March 7.

The spot features two courses — the more advanced Treetop Adventure for ages 10 and up and the Treetop Journey for all ages. The Treetop Adventure, which features a 500-foot zip line and 41 different obstacles, takes about two to three hours. The cost is between $39.95 and $49.95.

The Treetop Journey takes about an hour to complete and includes a 200-foot zip line and 18 obstacles. It costs $29.95.

And TreeRunner Adventure Park, 12804 Norwood Rd., Raleigh, opens March 13. TreeRunner includes a Junior Park for ages 4 to 7 with zip lines and climbing challenges designed for younger kids. It costs $20 to complete.

The main aerial park includes more than 70 different obstacles, including zip lines; three difficulty levels and seven different courses. It costs between $35 and $42.
