CARRBORO, N.C. — Seven Triangle Boy Scouts are biking across the country to raise $20,000 for adolescent and young adult cancer patients and their families at UNC Hospitals.
The scouts, from Troop 845 in Carrboro, are biking from Florance, Ore. to Wrightsville Beach. The 3,900 journey, which they are chronicling through an online blog, is expected to take 10 weeks.
