RALEIGH, N.C. — The Triangle Food Passport is your ticket to deals at 12 area restaurant, cafes and grocers.

Developed by local restaurant Sassool, the credit card-sized "passport" is $25. A percentage of proceeds will go to the Wake Tech Foundation to assist a full-time second-year student pursuing a Culinary Arts degree at Wake Technical Community College.

For each passport purchased, the diner will be automatically entered into a drawing for a three-course meal for two at either Bodega (Wake Forest) or Bloomsbury Bistro (Raleigh).

The passport is a result of Sassool's "Family Dinner" program where they invited other restaurateurs to come in and discuss industry trends. The Sassool team hopes the Triangle Food Passport will entice diners to support local businesses and add “traveling” to new places to their New Year resolutions.

When redeeming deals at each of the following restaurants, you can get your passport stamped:

  • Sassool Cafe (Cary and Raleigh)
  • Alpaca Rotisserie Chicken (Raleigh, Garner, Durham, Morrisville, Sanford, Apex, Chapel Hill, and Knightdale)
  • Craften Food Hall (Knightdale)
