Saturday night: Low temperature - 73

It will be hot and this afternoon's storms are pretty much over, says WRAL meteorologist Mike Maze.

"There's just a small chance of a storm or two to pop up overnight," Maze said.

Sunday: High temperature - 95

"Sunday will be mostly sunny, and it will be very warm," Maze said. "Because of the heat of the day, we're not going to rule out an isolated thunderstorm that would be triggered by the heat."

Sunday night: Low temperature - 73

"We're watching out for a few isolated storms," Maze said.

FORECAST IN DETAIL:

Sunday will be another hot day, but a cold front is on its way in, Maze said.

The work week will start hot but slightly cooler.

"We'll be getting a brief relief from the heat on Tuesday and Wednesday," Maze said.
