WRAL’s Kelcey Carlson alerted me to this and it sounds great! Kelcey, who is pregnant with her second child, is an avid runner.

Raleigh Running Outfitters is launching a women’s training group at its Raleigh location at 749 Six Forks Rd. The group will start meeting twice a week in early March.

There will be a meet-and-greet and open house for interested participants at 5 p.m., Feb. 25. Click here for more on Raleigh Running Outfitters.

Any runners in the house?

I have never been much of a runner. I always came in last during races in P.E. class. In fact, I was often picked last for most things in P.E. – except for badminton. I rocked that birdy.

It is funny that it took more than a decade for me to get athletic.

Any other late bloomers to the gym?
