Traffic is moving again after an accident on Interstate 40 in Wake County.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Traffic is moving again after an accident on Interstate 40 in Wake County.

Authorities said a car drove off eastbound I-40 near Jones Sausage Road at around 6 a.m. Thursday and crashed into a wooded area.

The driver has been taken to the hospital. The extent of the driver's injuries is not yet known.
