DURHAM, N.C. — The state Department of Transportation increased the number of message boards warning of a new traffic pattern on I-85 in Durham.
The Highway 15-501 exit was a left turn exit for decades, but over the weekend, crews changed it to a right turn.
There was one warning sign placed near the new traffic pattern that caught some drivers off-guard.
In addition to two permanent signs, three temporary message boards are now located between the exits for Guess Road and Highway 15-501.
