CARY, N.C. — Road crews shut down part of a major roadway for emergency repairs, the North Carolina Department of Transportation said Monday afternoon.
The left lane of U.S. Highway 1 North/U.S. 64 East between Cary Parkway and Walnut Street was closed for almost two hours Monday for emergency pavement repairs.
The right lanes will close at 7 p.m. Monday until 6 a.m. Tuesday to complete the remaining repairs, the DOT said.
