RALEIGH, N.C. — The N.C. Department of Transportation temporarily will close the three inner lanes of westbound Interstate 40 in Wake County between Wade Avenue and Harrison Avenue beginning Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The lanes will be reopened by Wednesday at 2 a.m.
During the closing, traffic will be shifted onto the outside right shoulder and the outside right lane.
