No injuries reported in tractor-trailer wreck on US 64 near Zebulon

Authorities shut down westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 64 for about two-and-a-half hours Monday morning after a tractor-trailer overturned near Zebulon.

ZEBULON, N.C. — Authorities shut down westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 64 for about two-and-a-half hours Monday morning after a tractor-trailer overturned near Zebulon.

The wreck happened at about 10 a.m. near Exit 436.

The tractor-trailer's contents spilled onto the highway, forcing first responders to clean the highway after the truck was moved to the shoulder.

No injuries were reported.

The highway was expected to reopen at about 12:30 p.m.
