Tractor trailer overturns on I-95 in Johnston County
A tractor trailer overturned late Monday on Interstate 95 in Johnston County.

MICRO, N.C. — A tractor trailer overturned late Monday on Interstate 95.
Before 10 p.m., the truck struck a guardrail and overturned on southbound I-95 near Exit 101 for Pittman Road. According to officials, the truck was carrying 38,000 pounds of cargo, which caused the trailer to overturn.
The driver was taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to officials at the scene. No other cars were involved.
The driver was charged with failure to maintain lane control, according to troopers.
At least one lane was closed while crews investigated.
