One lane has reopened after both lanes of I-95 northbound in Cumberland County closed on Saturday morning due to a tractor trailer that was on fire.
The closure was caused by a vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer, and began one mile north of Exit 65.
The following detour directions have been shared by officials:
"Traveler must take Exit 65 (NC-82) and turn left. Continue on NC-82 to US-301 and turn right. Continue on US-301 North to US-421 South and turn right. Continue on US-421 to re-access I-95 at Exit 73."
WRAL is working to learn more about the details of the crash and road closure and will include updates as we find out more.
