DURHAM, N.C. — There are plans for a mixed-use development anchored by a Topgolf off of Page Road in Durham, according to a real estate listing.
Topgolf, a Dallas-based sports bar and restaurant franchise, features climate-controlled hitting bays. According to a listing on RealtyLink, the development is planned at 4901 Page Road. Topgolf and iFly, an indoor skydiving business, are listed as being under-contract.
Topgolf has more than 50 locations across the globe, including one in Charlotte.
Representatives for Topgolf declined to comment, saying via e-mail "We don’t have additional details on a venue in Durham just yet."
Another interactive driving range, Drive Shack, opened over the summer in Raleigh. The three-story venue features 96 outdoor hitting bays with large heaters to keep golfers warm during the colder months.
Drive Shack also features a full-service restaurant and bar and rooftop patio.
