Tom Morey, creator of the 'Boogie Board,' dies at 86

Tom Morey, the inventor of the Boogie Board, has died due to complications from a stroke.

Morey was known as a surfing legend, who came up with the idea to create a foam board to prevent severe injuries.

The first Boogie Board sold for $10.

When he started making them in bulk he sold them for $37 dollars because that was his age at the time.

Tom Morey was 86 years old.
