Raleigh, N.C. — Here's what's going on at the General Assembly on Tuesday, Oct. 29:
- Senate Appropriations takes up a "mini-budget" for state information technology needs. (9 a.m., 643 LOB)
- The Senate has four bills on its 11 a.m. floor calendar, including a possible override vote on the vetoed state budget, a proposal to combat absentee ballot fraud and the licensing of birthing centers.
- The House meets at 2 p.m. and has just two bills to consider, including the absentee ballot measure and changing the rules for a state takeover of low-performing schools.
