To return gifts after Christmas, pack some patience

CARY, N.C. — The day after Christmas is the busiest return day of the year.
Make sure to pack patience when heading out to the stores.
Both shoppers and returners will likely run into long lines as customers try to find the right gift.
Make sure to check the original or gift receipt for the items.
Each store has its own return and exchange policies.
It is also a busy day to for using gift cards as several stores are having after-Christmas sales.
