Time to sign up for Raleigh's nature-based Halloween Trail
The long-running event features family-friendly nature-based skits.
Posted — UpdatedThe long-running event features costumed characters performing family-friendly, nature-based skits. When you reach the trail's end, huddle around a campfire for more entertainment. You'll also find arts, crafts and games. A hay ride takes you to and from your car.
Because of the popularity of this event, the city started requiring pre-registration a few years ago. It's set for 6 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 21 and Oct. 22. Registration ends Oct. 18 for the Friday, Oct. 21, event and on Oct. 19 for the Saturday, Oct. 22, event.
The fee is $7 for adults and children over 3. Kids 3 and under are admitted for free. Be sure to bring a flashlight if you go.
