A Princess Tea

Tickets are on sale now for Marbles Kids Museum's Princess Tea and Superhero Power Party.

The Princess Tea comes first. It's scheduled for a morning and afternoon session on both Jan. 20 and Jan. 21, at the downtown Raleigh museum, though the morning, Jan. 20, session appears sold out and there is limited availability for the other slots. Here's a description: "Fairy dust and sparkling crowns, enchanted wands and princess gowns ... children and their grown-up are invited to join us for A Princess Tea. Dress in your most elegant gown, take part in magical activities and enjoy delightful treats with a princess."

And the Superhero Power Party is 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. or 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., Feb. 17. Here's a description: "Calling all crime-fighting kids and their grown-up sidekicks! Strap on your Superkid gear, discover hidden powers, enjoy a mighty snack, hang out with our special guest Superheroes and play in the museum all day."

Pre-registration is required for both of these events. Tickets are $15 per Marbles' member and $20 per non-member for each. Marbles' website has more information. These are a lot of fun, in particular, for preschoolers and young elementary school kids.
