Tickets going fast for New Hope Valley Railway's Halloween, Christmas trains
Tickets are now on sale for New Hope Valley Railway's really popular Halloween and Santa Train.

NEW HILL, N.C. — Tickets are now on sale for New Hope Valley Railway's really popular Halloween and Christmas trains. These popular events usually sell out, so I highly recommend purchasing tickets sooner than later.
The trains take you on holiday-themed rides through rural southwestern Wake County in open-air train cars.
Track or Treat: Halloween Express takes place over three Saturdays in October. Halloween costumes are encouraged. This is a kid-friendly train ride. It doesn't get super spooky.
Santa's Reindeer Roundup Express takes place on Dec. 4, Dec. 5, Dec. 11, Dec. 12 and Dec. 18. Santa will be in the rail yard for photos that you can take yourself.
The train rides run about 50 minutes. Multiple departure times are planned for each day. Check New Hope's website for details.
