<p>folks welcome back into thriving with the TSP otherwise known as the thrift savings plan marty. This is the last segment, but this is, I think the most important one. So you've worked all your life, you've saved in the TSP, you saved other places maybe. And now it's time to retire or you're thinking about retirement or your spouse is saying, when are you gonna retire? We don't want to start doing some stuff. When you leave your job, you should take your money with you, true or false. Absolutely. You take that money with you. And, and we referred to in an earlier segment is you have so few options that are available in the TSP. Now when you leave as a federal employee, one of the options that they will provide for you is an annuity option. Now, a lot of folks say, well, gosh, that's a nice way that money is going to be guaranteed. They'll, they'll give you one figure and they'll say that is an amount of money that is guaranteed for as long as you live. Well, if I'm the employee, I'm gonna raise my hand and say, what happens if I only live six months? Well, okay, we can give you a smaller amount of money, but that's guaranteed for your life and the life of a spouse. Well, what happens if my spouse and I are killed in a car accident, six months then what happens? So you keep going on down the line where at some point it begins to not make any sense at all. And that capital financial. The legacy portion of any retirement plan is very, very important to us that capital financial we want you got you your spouse, your family protected, but we want your Children and grandchildren protected as well. When it comes to that death benefit coach, you know, we we like our clients to maintain control of their money all the way through their lives. And if you take the annuity option through the T. S. P. U. Booze control completely because now you've done what we call a new aside and you don't want to do a suicide. Now, annuities are good and there's some special annuities that do not require you to a new IT ties, but they're not with the federal government. We have some options where you can roll your money tax free into your own super ira I call it. And then, and that's tax free. You roll over and now you got your money over there and now we put in there the growth protection income type plan situation there. And now you have with certainty, you know what your income is going to be without having to innuit ties. How important is that? That's absolutely. And you get a point on the a few minutes ago when someone says, well, you know, they hear the word annuity and and and a lot of cases folks think that that's a negative word. You know, and there's so many negative connotations attached to it. And you know, 15, 20 years ago, most of most of those might may or may not be true. But in today's time, you have to be very, very careful, summoned. Absolutes are a fantastic investment for some of your retirement dollars. And we call it here at capital financial our core and explore. We have some money that needs to be in a place that is 100% protected. And that gives us the ability to have another piece of the money where we can explore some gains like in a common stock funds and things like that. And so to have a plan that's individualized for your situation and your family. That's absolutely just I can't get put into words how critical that is. You talk about when you're in control, when you know, you're in control and you have you understand what's going on in your financial world and you know that income is always gonna be there. You're never gonna have any problems. I call it the financial fill up every single year. There's gonna be a new check arriving in your account. It's going to be a check that will make, not only pay your bills to enable you to do things you want to do. That gives you that peace of mind. And that takes a warrior out of living in retirement. So folks, if you're curious at all about all the different options that are available out there. If you've saved money already in the TSP, you've done the hard and heavy lifting. The easy part. Now, in my opinion is making sure that that money is put in the right place for you and your family based on what you want to have happen all the way through the rest of your life. Good morning. I'm meteorologist, Brian Schrader in the WRL severe weather center, we saw some showers and a couple of rumbles of thunder south of the triangle overnight. We're going to see that moving out of here as we head through the morning hours, but we're gonna hang on to the clouds. We'll call it mostly cloudy today. We could see some peaks of sun though, late this afternoon in a few spots. Highs today in the mid seventies enjoy that warm weather because it is out of here for Sunday. Here's a look at the big picture, cold front, moved through the area. It's settled to our south and we're going to be tracking low pressure riding along that front that will generate some rain for tomorrow. Now, here's a look at Future Cast Day and you see as we put it into motion through the rest of the morning into the afternoon, we hang on to those clouds, maybe a few breaks in the clouds around four or five o'clock later this afternoon. But also note in our southern counties, this version of Futurecast has some showers popping up. So I want to keep that in mind South of the triangle. Late this afternoon into the evening, you could see some showers and then as we head overnight, Saturday into Sunday, we'll start to see rain developing. Here's futurecast for tomorrow and the afternoon light rain throughout the entire viewing area looks pretty wet all the way through the afternoon and into the evening, this particular version of Futurecast has the rain clearing out of here, late Sunday night and early Monday morning leaving us with clear skies for Monday. Here's a look at our seven day forecast tomorrow. The rain is going to be a big story but also the much cooler temperatures. You see that high there of 61 that's probably going to happen at midnight behind that cold. We're going to see those temperatures falling through the day afternoon, temperatures tomorrow likely will be in the low to mid 50. So definitely a different feel for tomorrow. And then with clearing and warmer weather Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, we get a little closer to normal in terms of temperature as we head to the end of next week. We're watching a front. The question is, does the front stall near us or does it clear on through that will determine our shower chances? But overall, it looks like a pretty nice week.
