Four new Aldi locations opening in Raleigh, Cary & Holly Springs

Aldi has announced four new locations in the Triangle including stores in Raleigh, Cary & Holly Springs!

The following stores are scheduled to open in the next year:

* Cary: 1315 Kildaire Farm Rd., Cary, NC with estimated opening date on October 17, 2019

* Raleigh: 6101 Capital Blvd. , Raleigh, NC with estimated opening date on October 31, 2019

* Raleigh: 6300 Creedmoor Rd., Raleigh, NC with estimated opening date on June 25, 2020

* Holly Springs: 7250 GB Alford Highway, Holly Springs NC with estimated opening date on July 23, 2020

Aldi is currently negotiating the lease for the location at 6300 Creedmoor Rd., Raleigh, NC. This is a former Kroger location. The current estimated opening date is slated for 6/25/2020.

As the official Grand Opening dates are announced for each store, we will post the details.

Aldi was founded by the Albrecht family and the first ALDI store opened in 1961 in Germany. Their website indicates: "Headquartered in Batavia, Illinois, ALDI now has more than 1,900 stores across 36 states, employs over 25,000 people and has been steadily growing since opening its first US store in Iowa in 1976. By 2022, ALDI will bring its total number of US stores to nearly 2,500."

* ALDI does not accept manufacturer coupons

* You will need to bring your own bags to bag your groceries. They do not provide bags for free.

* If you wish to use a grocery cart, you will need to deposit a quarter into the cart machine and you will get it back when you return the cart.

* They accept cash, credit, debit and EBT cards as forms of payment. They do not accept checks.
