Three NC children are finalists for 'Best Mullet'

Decker Nelson from Oxford, Brantley Kirwin of Jacksonville and Griffin Peoples of Whittier are among the 25 finalists in the Kids' Division of the contest which honors the best "business-in-the-front and party-in-the-back" hairdo.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Three children from North Carolina are among the finalists in the "Best Mullet" competition.

Decker Nelson from Oxford, Brantley Kirwin of Jacksonville and Griffin Peoples of Whittier are among the 25 finalists in the Kids' Division of the contest which honors the best "business-in-the-front and party-in-the-back" hairdo.

Voting is open through Oct. 11 on MulletChamp.com. Voting can be done once every 24 hours per email address.

The top three winners will receive cash prizes with first place getting $2,500.

There are also teen and adult categories.
