HENDERSON, N.C. — Henderson police are looking for three men facing murder charges in connection with the February shooting death of 17-year-old Ja'Quon Seward.

Seward was gunned down while he stood in a group of people on the corner of David and Nicholas streets on Feb. 21.

Daquan Ortiz, 20, was arrested hours later and charged with voluntary manslaughter in the shooting.

Now, police are seeking Corey Cheek, 17, of 315 Davis Street, Gary Treshon Holden, 21, of 251 Ragland Lane, and Ramek Holden, 18, of 198 Cone Lane.

They are each charged with first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, discharging a firearm in the city, felony inciting a riot and felony street gang activity.

A 14-year-old has also been arrested on the same charges. Because he is a juvenile, his name was not released.

Cheek was arrested Feb. 23 on a witness intimidation charge but was later released.

Anyone with information on the three suspects' whereabouts is asked to call police at 252-438-4141 or Crime Stoppers at 252-492-1925.
