Three men sought in Garner Best Buy armed robbery
Garner police are searching for three men who robbed a Best Buy at White Oak Shopping Center in Garner Monday and showed what appeared to be a gun.
Posted — UpdatedThree men went into the store around 7:45 p.m., picked up electronic merchandise and tried to walk out without paying, police said. Best Buy employees confronted the men, authorities said, and one of the men displayed what looked like a silver handgun.
The trio left in a black, late-model Nissan SUV/crossover vehicle, possibly a Murano, and they were last seen on Interstate 40 East. Police described the men as black, clean-cut and in their late teens or early 20s.
The first man is described as 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7, about 150 to 170 pounds, wearing a long-sleeve T-shirt, black pants and a black ball cap. The second man was wearing a lime green, short-sleeve T-shirt, jeans, white sneakers and a black ball cap. The third man was wearing a black, short-sleeve T-shirt, khaki shorts, black socks, white sneakers and a black ball cap.
