Three men charged with murder after Myrtle Beach drug deal gone wrong

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Three men from South Carolina were taken into custody after a Thursday night drug deal in Myrtle Beach ended in a shooting.

A fight broke out involving the sale or purchase of drugs at around 8:15 p.m.

Two people from Fayetteville died during the shooting, officials said. They believe those people were involved in the drug deal.

Officials have charged Brady Gilcrease, 21, from Pickens, S.C., and Brandon Hembree, 21, and Daniel Hembree, 20, both from Easley, S.C., with two counts of murder each.

Brandon Hembree is also charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime, WMBF reports.
