SILER CITY, N.C. — Three Chatham County men were injured Tuesday night after their car crashed into a garage, the Highway Patrol said.

Around 11:30 p.m., the driver ran off of James Caviness Road and hit a garage with two parked vehicles inside, troopers said.

Investigators said the three men, ranging in age from 18 to 23, were taken to Moore Regional Hospital. One of the men was later transferred to UNC Hospitals. Their names and conditions were not released. Investigators said they are all from the Siler City area.

Investigators believe the driver was going 90 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone. None of the men were wearing seatbelts.
