Three facing multiple drug charges in Robeson County

Three men have been arrested and are facing multiple drug charges in Robeson County.

LUMBERTON, N.C. — Three men have been arrested and are facing multiple drug charges in Robeson County.

Robeson County Sheriff's Office Drug Enforcement Division investigators joined deputies with the Community Impact Team and SWAT team members during a search warrant Thursday at 23 Alexis Dr. in Lumberton. Officials seized cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, five firearms, two of which were stolen and approximately $8,000 in cash. One the stolen firearms was stolen from a deputy’s residence in 2014.

James Floyd, 28, and Jerrick Orlando Floyd, 35, both of Lumberton were each arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, conspiring to sell or deliver cocaine, possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, maintaining a drug dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a stolen firearm. Jerrick Floyd also received and additional charge of possession of a firearm by a felon.

James Floyd was placed in Robeson County Detention Center with a $250,000 secured bond. Jerrick Floyd was placed in Robeson County Detention Center with a $350,000 secured bond.

On Friday, a search warrant was executed at 2423 Fairley Road near Maxton. Investigators seized quantities of heroin, meth, oxycodone pills, fentanyl patches, suboxone strips, cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, eight firearms and approximately $3,650 in cash.

Martin Luther McLaughlin, 49, of Maxton was arrested and charged with trafficking opium or heroin, trafficking opioids, trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell or deliver heroin, possession with intent to sell or deliver methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, possession with intent to sell or deliver a schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to sell or deliver a schedule III controlled substance, possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, maintaining a drug dwelling and possession of drug paraphernalia.

McLaughlin was placed in the Robeson County Detention Center under a $1 million secured bond.
